Helen Elizabeth (Stiles) Knieser, 84 yrs old, went to her heavenly home January 18, 2026

Helen is predeceased by her parents, Harold and Elizabeth Stiles, her brothers: Martin Stiles, Walter Stiles, Ronald Stiles, and her sisters Anne Wenzler (Walter Wenzler) and Mary Boulis (Gus Boulis), her friend and former husband, Jim Knieser and many other beloved friends and family.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Laura Reeder (Bill Bullen), Beth Phillips (Anthony Deboni), Noreen Cerbone (Dwayne Cerbone), Patricia Pfeif (Eric Pfeif), her grandchildren: Alex (Abigail), Benjamin (Joshalynn), Jacob (Linnea), Lucas (Allison), Ryan (Gillian), Alyssa (Sean), Christof (Josiah), Aaron (Tori), Stephen (Micah), Nicholas (Jessica), Sean, Iyanah, and great grandchildren: Madelynn and Lane.

Growing up in the city of Rochester and the town of Holley NY, Helen was always a bright light in the lives of her family and friends. A compassionate person who loved doing things with and for other people, she worked as a Home Health Aide caring for aging and disabled people in their homes. She became an Activities Leader in senior care facilities leading residents in meaningful activities to nurture their lives.

In retirement, Helen enjoyed being a Nana who was present in her family’s lives. She loved babysitting, cooking and baking, going on special trips together and attending so many events to support her grandchildren’s interests.

Most notably is Helen’s deep faith and relationship with God. As a Christian, she often shared about the love, forgiveness and peace she found in Jesus. She was dedicated to praying daily for her family and as a member of her church’s prayer team.

It is with great joy and comfort that we anticipate being reunited with Helen again one day and we invite you to come celebrate her beautiful life:
