Willie E. Sanders II (Sweet)

Sweet was born on December 4, 1954 in Winter Haven, Florida and passed away on January 21, 2026 at age 71 . He lived a life defined by love, generosity, and an adventurous spirit that brought joy to all who knew him. 

Sweet is predeceased by his father, Willie E. Sanders I; stepfather, Jimmy Bell; sisters, Sallie Mae Tamplin and Debra Jackson (Red); and niece Ca-Shauna Love-Robinson (Sunshine).

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Barbara Scott-Sanders; mother, Bernice Sanders; children, Willie Sanders III, Chelsea Sanders and Kendall Sanders-Wakefield; grandsons, Willie Sanders IV and Kayden Bailey; siblings, Bernita Sanders and Rickie Sanders; daughter in law, Simone Sanders-Wakefield; and beloved aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 AM – 12 PM, Friday, January 30th, 2026, at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc.
