Born on April 10, 1955, Kieran passed away on April 6, 2026, at age 70 surrounded by his family after facing Multiple Myeloma with the same strength and bravery that defined his life. He was predeceased by his parents, Patrick & Phyllis Daly and brother, Michael Daly. He is survived by his loving wife, Peg Daly; three children, Brendan (Alison) Daly, Kiera (Andrew) Soltis and Conor (Brienne) Daly; seven grandchildren, Kelly Daly, Maeve, Patrick & Colin Soltis, Ryan, Callie & Kieran Daly; sister-in-law, Karen Daly and nieces, Marissa Daly & Alanna Marriott; and many other loving cousins and in-laws.
The son of Irish immigrants, Kieran was a proud Irish American. He was born in Rochester, NY, grew up in Pittsford, NY and graduated from Pittsford Mendon High School in 1974. He graduated from Alfred State College in 1976 and Rochester Institute of Technology in 1978. A longtime Victor, NY resident, Kieran spent his retirement years on Canandaigua Lake and winters in Marco Island, FL.
Kieran was a skilled and respected stucco and plastering contractor in the greater Rochester area. A second-generation co-owner of Naughton & Daly Contractors for more than 40 years, he took great pride in his craft and the countless homes and buildings he helped shaped throughout the area. He was deeply appreciative of the loyal and dedicated employees who worked alongside him over the decades.
Kieran was a loving and kind son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend. Affectionately called Bear by his seven grandchildren, Kieran loved golf, fishing, home improvement projects, rock and roll music, and the Buffalo Bills. He was hard working, had a great sense of humor and enjoyed life to the fullest.
Above all else, Kieran was a devoted husband and loving father who placed his family at the center of everything he did. He was their biggest cheerleader, and they will miss his advice and steady guidance. They promise to follow in his footsteps and do their “Daly duty.”
