Harry D. Easton

Victor, NY:  Harry passed away peacefully on February 12, 2021 at age 92.  He was predeceased by Eleanor, his wife of 69 years; parents, Elmer and Lillian Easton; brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Jenny Easton; son-in-law, Robert Rought.  He is survived by his son, David (Mary Guinan) and daughter, Deborah Rought (Joe Ruggiero); grandchildren, Ashley (Kyle) Baker and David (Paula) Easton; great-grandchildren, Aurora and Adelaide Easton, Oliva and Ethan Baker; nephews and their wives and many cousins.

Harry attended the Army Specialized Training Program at Rutgers University.  He then served in the Army during WWII in the Pacific Theater, where he attained the rank of Sergeant.

After the Army, Harry attended Bucknell University and then worked as a Senior Product Engineer for Eastman Kodak for 34 years.

He was active in the First Baptist Church in Chili, serving on many boards through the years.  He was one of the founding members of Boy Scout Troop 90 at Chili Baptist Church.  Through the years, he served as Assistant Scoutmaster, Roundtable Commission, District Chairman and Eagle Board of Review member.  He was honored with the Silver Beaver Award and the Good Shepard Award.

Services will be held at a later date.  The family respectfully suggests that contributions in his memory be made to the Chili Baptist Church, 3182 Chili Avenue, Rochester, NY 14624; First United Methodist Church, 100 North Main Street, Canandaigua, NY 14424 or to Rochester Honor Flight, PO Box 23581.
