With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for the years we were given, we announce the passing of Brian D. Arthmann, a devoted father, grandfather, friend, and coach whose presence filled every room with humor, and unmistakable spirit.
Brian was predeceased by his parents, Doris and Robert Arthmann, and his brother Rick Arthmann, all of whom he loved dearly and missed profoundly throughout his life.
He is survived by his children, who were his greatest pride: Stacey (Bob) Hildebrand, Cyndy Arthmann, Jason (Kristina) Arthmann, and James Arthmann, as well as his former wife and lifelong friend Susan Arthmann. Brian’s legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren—Emma, Blaze, Lacey, Mia, Amanda, Nevaeh, Mason, Willow, and Myles—each of whom brought him joy, laughter, and endless stories to brag about. His loyal dog Nexxus, his constant companion, now misses him more than words can capture.
Brian lived life with passion and personality. An avid bowler, he achieved multiple 300 games, a testament to his skill, patience, and competitive spark. He was also a die-hard Buffalo Sabres fan, riding the highs and lows with unwavering loyalty—what a season it’s been for a lifelong fan.
Music was the soundtrack of Brian’s world, and Sir Elton John held the top spot in his heart. Whether it was a quiet moment or a long drive, Elton’s voice was never far away.
Brian loved the thrill of a good fair, amusement park, and especially a roller coaster—the bigger, the faster, the better. His sense of fun was contagious, and he never lost that childlike excitement for adventure.
An auto technician by trade, Brian had a gift in his hands and a mind that could solve any mechanical puzzle. If something was broken, he could fix it—cars, appliances, toys, tools, anything. His skill was matched only by his willingness to help anyone who needed it.
Brian’s life was full—of laughter, of stories, of music, of motion, of love. He leaves behind a family who will forever feel his absence, but also forever carry his strength, humor, and heart.
May he rest peacefully, reunited with those who went before him, and forever remembered by those who remain.
Friends and family are invited to call from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. 3325 Winton Rd. South. The family invites you to wear your favorite Buffalo Sabres attire.
