Transitioned from this life on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, age 63.
We are celebrating the life of Judy Noble, a beautiful woman of mind, body, and spirit. On Wednesday, May 27th, 2026, at 6:47 p.m, her spirit left her body behind and returned to God.
She is predeceased by her brother, Steven Noble.
She is survived by her parents, D.Lee and Greta Noble; son, Brandon Noble; siblings, Angela (Dennis Grange) Noble-Grange, Philip(Heike) Noble, and Paul Noble; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Judy fought a three-year battle against colon cancer. Throughout that fight, she continued to live her life to the fullest, spreading love and laughter and light to everyone around her. She was an amazing daughter, sister, aunt, mother, and friend to many.
Born on October 21st, 1962, Judy grew up in Rochester, New York. She graduated from Rush-Henrietta Senior High School, where she participated in indoor and outdoor track and field, as well as cross-country. She attended Monroe Community College and earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Administration and Management.
After college, she worked in retail and had a side job as a model. She later moved to San Diego, where she spent 10 years making lifelong friendships and enjoying new experiences
before deciding to come back to Rochester to raise her son, surrounded by family. Throughout her life, Judy possessed a tremendous strength of will and character. She built a life for herself twice—first in San Diego and again when she returned to Rochester—always supporting herself and her son, never wavering, and putting the needs of her child above her own.
Judy worked in retail for many years before transitioning to healthcare with Maximus. There, she helped educate people about insurance and eventually advanced to a leadership role. She formed lasting connections with her team and thought of them as her extended family.
She loved spending time with the people around her, whether playing Yahtzee and Boggle or simply laughing, sharing stories, and making memories. Judy cherished the people she loved. She shared in their joys and their sorrows, shedding tears alongside them in difficult times and offering them comfort and encouragement when she could. She loved many things, including the changing leaves of autumn and getting a Christmas tree each winter, family gatherings, and hiking in the Adirondacks.
Judy Noble was a woman of faith; she believed in God and that there was a plan for everything. She fought hard against her illness, but she never feared death; she would often say that even though she was gone, her spirit would continue to live in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her in return. She will be remembered for her kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering love. She brought warmth and joy to the people around her, and her legacy will live on through the lives of those she knew and loved.
