Bill passed away on June 23, 2026. He is predeceased by his father William Hughes; father in-law Leo Raab, and mother in-law Carolyn Raab.

He is survived by his mother Joan Hughes; wife of 29 years Marianne Hughes; siblings Catherine (John) Andersen, Stephen (Adele) Hughes, Jane (Terry) Clewell, Mary (Scott) White; brother in-law Joe (Angie) Raab, furry friend newt; and many more extended family and life long friends.

Bill has so many passions in life and was a man of many projects. He loved working on classic cars and had a few project cars of his own. He often time enjoyed spending time with his friends and family whether it was boating on Canandaigua lake, golfing, or entertaining in his home cooking a large feast. He was not short of hobbies and could always be found puttering around the house looking for new projects.

Calling hours will be held at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services INC. (3325 Winton Road South, Rochester, New York 14623) on Saturday June 27, 2026 from 10am-12pm.

Immediately following calling hours a funeral service will be held at the Creation Chapel in White Haven Memorial Park (210 Marsh Road, Pittsford, New York) starting at 12:30pm followed by burial.  For those unable to attend, please click HERE to view the Live Stream of the service.
