Michael John Andrieu “Mick”

Henrietta: Passed away on July 9, 2026 at age 79. He was predeceased by his father, John “Jack” Andrieu; mother’s, Sophia and Barbara Andrieu; sister, Nancy Andrieu.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Ellen Andrieu; children, Brian (Heaven) Donner, Stacie (Ken) Da Costa, Halle (Mike Veaunt) Andrieu, Devin (Roberto) Arguinzoni; grandchildren, Madison Shanahan, Kellan, Chase and Olivia Da Costa; siblings, Jim (Dawn) Andrieu, John (Lori) Andrieu, Martin (Susan) Andrieu, Barbara (Bill) Schoeneman, Margie Burg; nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

Mick was born in 1947 with an unbridled confidence usually spared for politicians. Unlike politicians though, this never came from a place of self absorption, but a quiet confidence. He knew who he was wholly and never doubted his abilities.

He had a hunger for knowledge, a vocabulary rivaled by Webster himself, a love for his structured routine, as well as a uniquely-timed inappropriate joke, and above all else, his family. You’d be hard pressed to find a better husband and father than our Micky.

There was a constant fire in him that burned on until his last days. Clear headed and raging against all expectations, still busting the chops of loved ones and the medical staff alike. No one was safe or felt more lucky to have been at his mercy.

His devilish charm, unarrogant brilliance, and unquestionable love for those he cared about will live on through the countless memories he leaves behind. Let’s face it, the man knew how to leave an impression. He lived a full and happy life until the end and will be so dearly missed by all he encountered.

Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Monday, July 20, 2026 at 11AM in the Interfaith Chapel of Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 3325 Winton Road South. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704 Hagerstown, MD 21741 [Donate Online] or the National Park Foundation, 1500 K Street NW, Suite 700, Washington, D.C. 20005 [Donate Online].
