Louis “Louie” J. Buccini age 86 of Hopewell/Canandaigua passed away on August 3, 2026 at home in hospice care from complications due to a stroke he suffered July 2025. He is survived by his loving wife, Georgia of 62 years; children, Michele, Dawn and David (Maria Rosello); 2 sisters and one brother; many nieces and nephews.

Louie was a Monroe High School graduate, Navy Veteran, 59-61 aboard the USS Intrepid and retired from Kodak in 1991. Antique Ford autos were his passion, especially the 1935 Ford Cabriolet that he first purchased when he was just 18 years old. Louie finally lived his dream of restoring that Ford, with the help of his wife and son David, in just 8 years’ time. Louie’s attention to detail in restoring his car led him to a First-Place Concourse award in September 2024 at the Eastern National Meet of the Early Ford V8 Club of America.

Friends may call on THURSDAY, August 20, 2026, 5-7 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services of Victor (301 W. Main St., Victor, NY 14654). Interment, private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a Charity of Your Choice.
