Helen Margaret Perry (Mady)

Rochester: Passed away on August 9, 2026, at age 91. She was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Charlotte Mady; her daughter, Brenda Reasin; brothers, Kenneth Mady, Richard Mady, Eugene “Peppy” Mady, and Peter Mady; her former husband, Howard Bodine; and her beloved dog, Pierre.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Karen Bodine; grandsons, Matthew, Brandon, Cameron (Alyssa), Nicholas, and Joe; great-grandchildren, Haleigh, Dominyck, Brayden, Octayvia, Charlotte, Miles, and Max; brother, John (Cindy) Mady; as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Helen will be remembered most for the love she had for her family and the time she cherished spending with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A master gardener, she had a lifelong love of gardening and could often be found tending to her plants and flowers. She was also a talented seamstress who loved to sew, with one of her more memorable creations being a pair of shamrock boxers made for President Bill Clinton. Helen enjoyed playing golf and tennis and had an adventurous spirit that carried into her love of travel. A world traveler, she visited many places throughout her life and created countless memories along the way. Her family will remember her strength, independence, many talents, and the stories and experiences she shared with those around her.

At Helen’s request, services and interment will be held privately.
