Clifton T. Shortsleeve “Cliff”

Pittsford: Passed away unexpectedly on August 20, 2026, just 4 days shy of his 88th birthday. Born in Malone, NY, Cliff moved to Pittsford in 1962 into a home he built himself, where he lived for 64 years.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Nancy “Nan” Shortsleeve; his parents, Henry and Emma Shortsleeve; grandson, Sean; and brother, Brian.

He is survived by his children, Wendy (Sean) Condon, Tim (Amy) Shortsleeve; grandchildren, Chad Condon, Nicole (Dan) Schoen, Katelyn Condon, Paige (Ryan) Shue and Meghan Shortsleeve; great-grandchildren, Grayson and Audrey Schoen and Rylee and Anna Shue; sisters, Brenda Shortsleeve and Phyllis Barrese; many nieces and nephews.

Cliff was a master carpenter, known to many as “Hammer,” and an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family — his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He will be remembered for his skilled hands, his quiet dedication, and the home he built with his own two hands, which stood for over six decades as a testament to his life’s work and his love for his family.

Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, August 30th from 1–3 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. (3325 Winton Road South). Services and interment will be held privately.
