Susan Ann Goodrell

Susan Ann Goodrell (Streber), 71, of Henrietta, New York, passed away on September 1, 2026.

Born May 12, 1955, in Rochester, New York, Susan was the daughter of the late William “Bill” Streber and Eileen (Lewis) Streber. She married Joseph Goodrell Sr. on October 16, 1973. Together they shared 33 years of marriage, raised five children, and built a beautiful family before his passing in 2006.

Family was truly the center of Susan’s world. She loved her children with her whole heart and was the very best “Gramma” to her grandchildren and “Nana” to her great grandchildren. Nothing made her happier than having her family together. She loved fiercely, gave generously, and always made sure the people she loved knew just how much they meant to her.

Susan was known for her caring heart, her silliness, and her smile. She spent many years working at Henrietta Hots and Pickle Nick’s, where she knew just about everyone and loved making people laugh. She enjoyed bingo with her cousins, shopping, baking, Christmas, a Diet Coke and something sweet, and spending time with the people she loved. Anyone who knew Susan also knew about her lifelong love of I Love Lucy.

Susan is survived by her five children, Renee (Luis) Rivera, Joseph “Jojo” (Jenn) Goodrell, Geoff (Jenni) Goodrell, Erica Goodrell, and Ellie Goodrell; her 14 grandchildren, Nikki, AJ, Julia, Dominic, Angelina, Jenah, Angelo, Zack, Anthony, Niko, Nate, CJ, Brandon, and Karter; and her nine great grandchildren, Cameron, Kaylee, Ava, Carter, Carmella, Luciano, Harper, Kennedy, and Emilio.

She is also survived by her siblings, Bill Streber, Karen (John) Fillion, and Scott (Chrissy)Streber, nieces and nephews, along with many extended family members and dear friends.

Susan was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Goodrell Sr.; her parents, William “Bill” and Eileen (Lewis) Streber; her godson, Jon Jon Fillion and her sister-in-law Penny Streber.

Susan will be remembered most for the tremendous love she had for her family and the joy she brought to those around her. She was deeply loved as a mother, Gramma, Nana, sister, and friend, and she will be missed beyond measure.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Miller’s Funeral Home (3325 Winton Rd S).

On Wednesday, September 9, 2026, the procession will leave Miller’s Funeral Home at 10:30 AM for White Haven Memorial Park, where Susan’s service will be held at 11:00 AM.

Flowers may be sent to Miller’s Funeral Home. For those who would prefer to make a memorial donation, donations may be made in Susan’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
