Mary Rose Traynor

Our beloved mother/Nana, Mary Rose Traynor passed away on September 3rd, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 23rd 1952 in Detroit Michigan to Edward and Gertrude Drews. Mary devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. Raising her six children with never ending love and patience. Alongside every grandchild. She was an amazing woman who cared endlessly and loved powerfully. She was a mother, Nana and friend to everyone and anyone who was blessed to be in her presence. She never missed any sporting event, cheerleading competition, Karate match or even any phone call.

Mary is predeceased by her parents Edward and Gertrude Drews and brother Paul Drews. As well as her sons Scott and Mark Pernesky and daughter Wendi Pernesky-Majors. Survived by her children, Wayne Crosby (Clover), KatyAnn Lipome (Chad), Kimberly Pernesky (David Richardson), Gina Masco; and her twelve grandchildren Cody Masco, Amber Denagel, Ayla and Nina Crosby (Ash), Krystal Pernesky (Tim), Samantha Howard (Kevin), Daniel Majors (Mikhayla), Alyse, Emma and Chase Lipome, Olivia and Lauryn Pernesky, and one very special great grandson Michael.

She has spent extra years here on earth with this family and it was now time for her to see her children Scott, Mark and Wendi who have been waiting for her in heaven.

A celebration of life (as she wanted) will be held at Mendon Ponds Park in the Stewart Lodge on October 18th 2026 from 1pm-5pm. The family invites friends and loved ones to share memories and celebrate a life beautifully lived.
