Harold Brown was born July 9, 1944 to Wade Brown and Minne Graham-Brown in Andrews, South Carolina.  He was one of nine siblings. After turning 18 years old, he moved to Rochester, New York.  He was employed at Eastman Kodak Company and Schlegel Systems, Inc. as a machinist.  He retired in 2006.
Harold enjoyed nice cars and traveling back home to South Carolina. He always made sure that he made the pilgrimage once or even twice a year with his family. His hobbies were always making sure that his car was sparkling clean inside and out and taking pictures with all of the various new Kodak cameras.
Harold passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wade and Minne Brown, his three brothers, Delane (Dee) Brown, Robert Graham, and Silas Brown, and his sisters, Annie Mae Eley, Daisy Mae Graham, Mary Lee, and Susie Graham.  Harold leaves a host of family and friends to cherish his good memories; his loving wife, Mildred Joann (McGee) Brown of 61 years, his three children, Yolanda Brown (Charlotte, NC), Christopher Brown (Rochester NY) and Joann Simmons (Rochester, NY), two grandchildren, Natashia Morales (Rochester, NY) and Mykayla Ceravola (Charlotte, NC) and great-grandson, Boasha Bedell-Morales (Rochester, NY), his sisters, Ida Mae Chandler of Rochester, New York and Virginia Robinson of Wilmington, North Carolina. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He will surely be missed by family and friends.
