Carolyn M. Coury Strahs

 

On Sunday, February 21, 2021, Carolyn M. Coury Strahs of Victor, New York passed away at the age of 51.

Carolyn was born in Evergreen Park, Illinois on October 27, 1969. She grew up in the Chicago area and graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications. She moved to Victor in 2003 with her family. Carolyn worked in the advertising industry and most recently as the building secretary at Victor Primary School, although her most treasured job was being a devoted mother to her two sons, Maxx and Alexx. Carolyn had a love for flowers and dogs, enjoyed caring for children, and had an amazing talent for decorating her beautiful home.

Carolyn has many surviving family members who will miss her deeply. She is the proud mother of Maximillian and Alexander Strahs, the loving daughter of Kathleen Mitchell Coury and James Coury, and the cherished sister of Laura Coury and Julie (Raymond) Gray. She is the adored aunt of Zachary, Ethan, and Hope Gray. Carolyn is also loved and survived by many relatives around the country. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Florence and Edward Mitchell, and her grandmother, Violet Coury. Carolyn is a dear friend to many.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Carolyn touched are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at 11:30 am EDT at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 3325 S. Winton Rd, Rochester, NY. Due to COVID restrictions we are limited to the number of people who can attend in person. CLICK HERE to reserve a spot.
