Dan was an avid outdoorsman, swooping down the ski hills at Bristol or Gore Mountain in the winter, and chasing the golf ball at Park View during the summer. He loved camping, hiking and kayaking. He loved being a ski instructor at Bristol Mountain, helping to get countless beginner skiers to enjoy the sport. He was always looking for new recipes or things to make on the grill. He was a sergeant in the Rochester Police Department from 1977 -2002, and then was a public safety officer at RIT.
The most important thing to Dan was his family. He supported his children in any path they chose in life, and loved the holidays when extended family would just spend time together. He will be dearly missed by so many people whose lives he touched.
