Passed away unexpectedly on October 29, 2021. Predeceased by her parents, Vernon E. and Monica Halloran; siblings, Thomas Halloran and Mary Ellen Maier. Survived by her husband Francis J. “Frank” Martin Sr.; children, Francis “Joe” (Cindy) Martin, Jr., Michele (Steve) Prentice, Catherine Martin, Theresa (Karl) Hirschman; grandchildren, Francis J. (Jacquie) “Frankie” Martin III, Benjamin P. (Myria) Martin, Elizabeth (Brittany Ryan) Hirschman, Ryan Hirschman, Rebecca (Judd Plouffe) Hirschman; great grandchildren, Glenn Martin, Rhett Martin, Sawyer Plouffe and Cash Martin; her furbaby Rella, many nieces and nephews.
Peg was a graduate of St. Agnes High School class of 1955 which was the first graduating class at the East River Road location and a Life Member of the West Henrietta Fire Department Auxiliary and a Member of the Henrietta Fire District Ladies Auxiliary Marching Unit.
Spending time with her family meant everything to Mom, from Sunday dinners to the many vacations at Disney World and the South Shore in Massachusetts. Married for 62 years, the love that our parents shared was what kept them going as they faced the challenges of life together. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma and great grandma – the foundation of our family and she will be forever missed and loved by us all.
Friends and family may call TUESDAY November 2, 2021 from 4-7 at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 3325 Winton Road S. Peg’s Funeral Mass will be held WEDNESDAY November 3, 2021 at 10 AM St. Marianne Cope Parish at Guardian Angels Church 2061 East Henrietta Road. Interment Pine Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to one of Peg’s two favorite charity’s.
