Kathleen Sawicki peacefully passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at home with her family around her. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, William Sawicki, and her brother Charles (Mary Ellen) Knoth. Kathy is the devoted mother of Michael (Jennifer) Sawicki, Christopher (Yvonne) Sawicki, and Patti (Vincent) Brock. She is the loving Babchi of Dylan, Jake, Sarah, Julia, Macy, Jenna, Evan, Christina, Annabelle, and Ryan. Kathy is also survived by many adoring cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Kathy taught learning disabled elementary students at the Brentwood School District on Long Island for 17 years. She also worked for 7 years teaching emotionally disturbed and learning disabled children at the Emma E Booker High School in Sarasota, Florida. She was a caring and generous woman who always gave her all to her family, students, and friends. We will miss Kathy and remember her with great admiration and love.
