VICTOR, NY – Susan J. Spadafora, 70, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. Susan was born in Auburn on Dec. 16, 1950, the daughter of the late Joseph and Eleanor (Young) Graney.

Susan was predeceased by her aunt, Sister Mary Noreen Graney RSM in 2018, and uncle Otis Sitton in 1989. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Robert Spadafora; her beloved children: daughters, Kristin (Ryan) Snyder and Robin Spadafora, and son, Ryan Spadafora; grandchildren who she adored, Bryce Spadafora, Devin and Autumn Rex, Emma, Avery and Luke Snyder, and Milo Money; her sister, Kathleen (Bill) Locastro; nephews, Todd, Scott and Marc Locastro; her aunt, Jean Sitton-Birch.

Susan graduated from Mount Carmel High School in 1968. She married her husband Robert in 1973, and provided a loving home for him and their three children. Susan worked for the Canandaigua City School District for 23 years until her retirement in 2014. Her kind words and a beautiful smile for everyone she met earned her many amazing friendships over the years. In her freetime, Susan could shop for hours on end, with the occasional stop at the slot machines after. She took great pride in how she decorated her home with plenty of lighthouses, giraffes and Christmas gnomes, depending on the season. However, there was nothing Susan loved more than a family gathering with each and every family member present. She will be missed deeply and remembered lovingly at all birthdays, holidays and celebrations to come.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Susan’s life through calling hours on Tuesday, January 4 2022, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc; 3325 Winton Rd. South, Rochester, NY. A memorial service will immediately follow at the funeral home. To view the livestream of her funeral service please CLICK HERE.
