Passed away January 2, 2022 at the age of 70.

Predeceased by his parents, Richard & Rita Briggs. Survived by his wife, Janice; children, David (Damian) Briggs, Amy (Kyle) Porter; stepchildren, Matthew (Holly) Garvey, Michael (Barb) Skrynski; grandchildren, Colby, Andrew, Lennon, MacKenzie, Alex, Oliver; sister, Lynn (Dan) Condello; brother, Rick (Lucy) Briggs; many nieces and nephews; preceded by K9 Partners, Alex, Hanz, Wolf.

He retired after 48 years with the Rochester City Police Department K-9 Unit.
