Dolores V. Small (McNeill)

Dolores V. McNeill was born in New York, NY. She met the love of her life Parker Small, and they married in 1961 and moved to Rochester NY where they raised their six children. She was always surrounded by friends from around the globe. Her friends from Rochester, Myrtle Beach, Canada and Europe were always such a special part of her life. Especially Edmond and AnnMarie Magner and their four children Ellen, John, James and Anna from Ireland. Dolores spent her winters in Myrtle Beach, S.C. and her summers at Conesus Lake. She was an avid golfer and could be found on the golf course multiple times a week year-round. She was happiest when surrounded by her Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.

Dolores passed away on January 6, 2022. She was predeceased by her husband, Parker R. “Buzz” Small, Jr.; parents, Lawrence and Mary McNeill; sisters, Veronica Gerkensmeier, Nora (James) O’Connell, Lorraine (Bob) Dunton, Agnes McNeill, Madeline McNeill; great-granddaughter, Natalie Tomsic. She is survived by her children, Mary (Kevin) Fogarty, Susan (Bill) Smith, Patrick Small, John Small, Theresa (Ray Minisc) Small, Doreen (Jerry) Stoecker; grandchildren, Heather, Jessica, Shelby, Erin, Ryan, Cody, Kevin, Angela, Parker, Jack; great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Sean, Pasiley, Patrick, Olivia, Quinn, Payton; siblings, Lawrence (Joanne) McNeill, Maureen McNeill; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, January 12th from 4-7 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc, 3325 Winton Road South. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 13th at 10:30 AM in St. Matthew’s Church, 6591 Richmond Mills Road, Livonia. Interment, will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pines of Peace Comfort Care Home, 2378 Ridge Road, Ontario, NY 14519. Donate Online
