Dorothy J. Arrighetti (Dottie) of Victor, NY: Formerly of Tuxedo Park, NY, died on Wednesday, 9 February 2022, at age 88. Dottie was born in Swoyersville, Pennsylvania to Rudy and Julia Gaydos (nee Rusinko). She is predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Peter C. Arrighetti, her siblings Robert Rusinko and Juliann Stilson. She is survived by her children, Craig (Julie) Arrighetti, of Alexandria, VA, Brian (Karen) Arrighetti of Rochester, NY and Pamela (Bill) Saar of Victor, NY; grandchildren Chris Saar (Heather Peets), Peter Arrighetti, Nicholas Arrighetti; siblings, Eugene Gaydos, Rudy Gaydos, Joan Roginski, as well as many extended relatives and friends.

Dottie served in the U.S. Navy as a Physician’s Assistant and Hospital Corpsman, and was a Korean War Veteran. She worked for Tuxedo Hospital, Brentnall Real Estate Company, Shelter Rock Securities, and Industrial Health, while also raising her family.

Dottie will be remembered for her many talents and contributions including floral arrangements during the holidays for Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Tuxedo, her infamous pickled eggs and decorative wedding and birthday cakes. She will also be remembered for her love of animals.

Dottie was most recently a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Canandaigua, NY.

A Memorial Service and internment is being planned for Dottie and Peter in Tuxedo to be held in late Spring.
