On February 16, 2022 in Henrietta, NY, Michael V. Fittos passed away suddenly at the age of 60. He is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Victoria (Tanzi) Fittos; and beloved son Vincent. He is also survived by his mother, Helen Fittos, and sister, Lisa Fittos. He is predeceased by his father, Francis Fittos, and several aunts and uncles.
He was a proud father and loving husband. In fact, Mike had a love for playing the drums and performed in countless rock bands, such as Wilkes Booth and Nuthin’ Fancy. He passed on his love for music to his son, Vincent, who shares the same infatuation for drumming, just like his father did. Mike worked at the RCSD for over 17 years and prior to that the Eastman Kodak Company.
Mike was young at heart. He adored numerous activities with his family and friends including, hunting, fishing, camping and traveling. Throughout his years, he went to many rock concerts living his life to the fullest. He was a member of the Elks Lodge where he made numerous lifelong friends, as well as being a member at the Mendon Conservation League. Mike always found a way to fill a room with laughter, all with a contagious smile on his face. He was involved with the Music Group at Saint Marianne Cope Parish at the former Good Shepherd Church.
A Funeral Mass will be held 10 AM Friday May 13, 2022 at St. Marianne Cope Parish at Guardian Angels (2061 East Henrietta Rd.). A Celebration of Life will follow at the Hopkins Point of Mendon Ponds Park (Park View Rd.).
