Marion B. Lane Passed away peacefully on February 27, 2022 at the age of 77. She was born August of 1944 in Placentia, Newfoundland to Thomas and Mary Blackmore Norgang.

She was predeceased by her parents and her grandson, Chris. She is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Robert J. Lane; their children: Peggy (Ted) McArthur, Jim (Melissa), Beth (Bill) Marsaw, Tom (Jeanne) and Patty (Jim) Handyside; grandchildren: Connor (Allie), Evan and Kyle, Roman, Robert (Rachel), Amanda (James), and Natasha (John), James, Paul and Jonathon, Chris (Kimmylee), and Nick (Anna), Caitlin (Dylan), William and Rhiannon, and Caleb and Emily; granddaughter-in-law, Samantha; eleven great-grandchildren; siblings: Bob (JoAnn) Norgang, Peg (Bill) Cornell, and Mary (Michael) Korchowsky; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She grew up in South Buffalo, attended St Teresa’s and South Park high school. After she raised her 5 kids, she went to Buffalo State College and graduated Cum Laude with a BA in early child hood education.
Marion was active with St. Marianne Cope Parish at Good Shepherd in the Rosary Altar Society and prayer chain. She loved church hymns, playing fun music and dancing with her grandkids. She enjoyed baking, a good cup of tea and a tough game of scrabble. She opened her home to others and would say she was blessed.

Friends and Family are invited to call from 10:00am – 12:00pm, followed by a Service at 12:00pm on Saturday, April 2, 2022 all held at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc, 3325 Winton Rd. S. Rochester.
