Charles H. Stradley, 80, of Rochester, New York, passed away on March 9, 2022. Chuck was born to the late Jeff and Edith Stradley in Tipton, Oklahoma on July 9, 1941. He enlisted in the US Army after graduating high school. He proudly served Our Country for 20 years, being stationed all over the world, including California and Japan. Chuck is a Vietnam Veteran. After retiring from the military, Chuck settled his family in Niagara Falls, NY. After receiving his BS in Labor Relations from Niagara University, he continued to serve the US Government for 20 years as a Quality Assurance Representation. Chuck also made many lasting friendships as a member of the Lewiston Fire Company #2.
Chuck was blessed with a loving family. Chuck is preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Alice Stradley. Chuck is survived by his son Scott Stradley (wife Casey Vaccaro), two granddaughters Isabella and Sara Stradley and one granddog Autumn.
Chuck was an avid reader and loved to watch the news. You could always find him with a book in his hand and a cup of coffee on the table. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed going on ocean charters and reeling in the big fish. Chuck shared his loved of fishing with his whole family, especially loving the joy fishing brought to his son and granddaughters. He will be truly missed.
