Tom passed away on March 16, 2022 at the age of 80, surrounded by his family after a difficult battle with Parkinson’s disease. Predeceased by his parents, Eustace and Elizabeth [Merklinger] Deisenroth. Survived by his wife of 44 years, Doreen [Anderson] Deisenroth; children, Tom Deisenroth III, Peter (Imelda) Deisenroth, and Beth (Jeff) Flannigan; grandchildren, Leora, Kadin, Teyha, Peterah, and Chase Deisenroth and Avery Flannigan; sister, Joan (Jim) Fitzsimmons of Tucson, AZ; niece, nephews and cousins.
Tom was a graduate of Honeoye Central School, then RIT receiving a degree in engineering. He was the founder and former owner of Bristol ID Technologies. After his retirement, Tom was an enthusiastic long-time volunteer at Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua.
Tom’s family was his greatest joy, followed by his love of kayaking on Canandaigua Lake and navigating the waterways of the Adirondacks and Cape Cod.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to The Jewish Home for their loving care of Tom for the past month. At home Tom was blessed to have outstanding care from the HHA’s from Home Instead, especially Kalesha Lutchman and Jeff Cornell from Serenity Home Care.
The family will receive friends on SATURDAY March 19, 2022 from 12-2 pm at Mary Magdalene Church, 1008 East Main St, East Rochester 14445, which will be immediately followed by his funeral mass at 2PM. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Honeoye, NY.
