March 26, 1957 – May 1st, 2022
Scott was born in Rochester, NY at Genesee Hospital 65 years ago and was a lifetime Rochesterian. He attended PS #35 and graduated from James E. Sperry High School in 1975. He earned his Associates Degree at Monroe Community College and also had attended classes at St. John Fisher College. He worked for two years in the computer department for the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and for the last 35 plus years at the Monroe County Water Authority as a Senior Computer Operator, a job he loved, with co-workers who were like a work family.
Scott greatly enjoyed classical music and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. He also spoke fluent German. He was a devoted listener to the radio shows Polka Bandstand, Sound Bytes, and the German Program.
Scott was known for his kindness, big heart, and ready smile. A true overcomer, Scott faced the challenges of life with grace, determination, and humor, and considered everyone a friend.
Scott was pre-deceased by his parents, Al and Vivian Bubel. He is survived by his sister Kathy (Gary) Nasca, nieces and nephews Nichole (Evan) Raiewski, Joseph Nasca, Jessica (Patrick) Webb, and Kevin Nasca, great-niece and nephew Violet and Lincoln Raiewski, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
