age 99, died June 13, 2022. A lifelong resident of Rochester NY, she was a graduate of the Columbia School in Rochester and Wheaton College in Norton, MA, and a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. She loved all forms of art, the beauty of the natural world, poetry, gardening, and a brisk walk. Gracious and warm, she had a keen, curious, and practical mind, an enormous capacity for acceptance, a deep faith, and a generous spirit. Her greatest love was her family.

She was predeceased by her husband Charles Norris (C.N.) Gleason, parents Helen and Louis S. Foulkes, brother Thomas S. Foulkes, sister Jean Foulkes Borden. Survived by children Elizabeth (Donald) Langosy, Mary Gleason, Michael (Shelia) Gleason, Sarah (Ramsey Pualwan) Gleason; 7 grandchildren, Hadley (Ryan Keane) and Zoe (Dan Bolton) Langosy, Hannah (Jeff) Spitzner, Sarah (Keith) Gibson, Rachel (Shannon Laverty) Solomon, David (Lauren) Solomon, Eva (Jeremy) Thomas ; 6 great-grandchildren, Arwyn Langosy, Gideon Keane, Adalyn and Clara Gibson, Aria Bolton, Leon Solomon; nieces and nephews, especially Kate McBride, who has provided steadfast support over the years.

The family thanks the loving staff at Creekstone Memory Care. Nancy will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her genuine and constant gratitude. If you wish to give in her memory, please do something meaningful for someone you love.
