“But as the Scriptures say, “No one has ever seen, no one has ever heard, no one has ever imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” Isaiah 64:4” That’s Bible!! Take your reward Elder, Leroy! You made a difference and what was most evident about you was your love for God. You were filled to overflowing and we were blessed to encounter you and experience the love you shared. Thank God for sharing you with KBI and New Life. We were taught by you, laughed with you, and grew because of you. Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!! We are praying for you Mother Evans and ALL of the Evans, children, spouses and grandchildren. Be encouraged, we shall see him when we get there. All our love…….

Pastor Evan's was always a shining a light a pleasure to experience his presence. He was the most humble human being and always kind. We would talk for hours on end when I would visit the church. He could always preach, sing and the Bride of Christ Church would strike up singing from the pews. I always loved that about them. Although bittersweet Pastor, We bid you farewell. If there is a Hammond B3 in heaven we know you have it humming. To the Evans family, If I could be there today I most assuredly would have attended. My love and prayers are with you this day. Much Love Reg! I hate to see the saints go so quickly but I do know that its better for them.

So sorry to hear about Leroy’s passing. We were friends and bandmates at A. L. Corbett High School in Wagner, SC. He was very smart, respectful and a multi-talented musician. My condolences to his family.

We met and worshipped with Pastor Evans and Sister Jackie, in the late 70's, while living in Rochester. We found him to be a godly man, fully dedicated to Jesus Christ, and the work of the ministry. Also, a kind friend of our family. He will surely be missed. The Dockerys of San Antonio, Texas

I received Christ under Pastor Evan's ministry back in 1985, have always admire his walk with the Lord. I had worked in the Charlotte area for 9 years, had no idea he later relocated. My condolences to the family. May the Peace of God be your source of strength during this time.
