Edwardo “Eddie” G. Villafane died unexpectedly at home on June 22, 2022 at age 50.

A beloved brother, Eddie was predeceased by his parents, Jacinto and Felipa. He is survived by his sister, Claudia (Jeff) O’Donnell; brother, George Villafane; aunt, Herlinda Mudaj; nieces, Jacquelyn Maynard and Danielle O’Donnell; nephew, Isac Villafane; great nephew, Braxton Villafane and many friends, including his chosen family at Victor Hills Golf Club, a place he was proudly employed by since 1990.

Born in McAllen, Texas, Eddie grew up in Geneva, graduated from Bloomfield High School before later attending Cortland University. A passionate sports fan, Eddie enjoyed watching UFC, and cheering for his favorite teams: the Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees.

A celebration of Eddie’s life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 6 at 6 p.m. at Victor Hills Golf Club (459 Brace Rd., Victor, N.Y.)
