Passed away on June 8, 2022 at age 88. Born to the late Tommy and Christine Poulos on November 29, 1933 she was predeceased by sister Rose and brother Teeker. She leaves her sister Helen Churakos and brother Lou Poulos, beloved grandchildren, Nicholas, Lauren, Natalie, Cory, and Gracie (Brody) and several nieces and nephews. She met the love of her life, the late Louis J. “Lou” Christakos, at the family restaurant “The Alps.” They raised 3 daughters, Constance “C.C.” Christakos, Christine “Chrisy” Condon (Eddie) and Alexia Della Stua (Dave) and were married for 42 years.
Shula was known for her faith in God, the love of estate sales, her antique Christmas ornaments and a great glass of wine. She was an amazing wife, mother, Yia-Yia and cherished friend to many.
Friends may call from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM, with a service to follow at 1:00 PM, on August 6th at the Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. 3325 Winton Road South.
