Predeceased by her beloved husband, Harry Youles; her parents, Joseph and Catherine Gerew; brothers and sister-in-laws, Joseph (Judy) Gerew, Ronald (Marlene) Gerew, Jack (Barbara) Gerew, Thomas (Rahni) Gerew, Jerry Gerew; sister, Dianne Gerew; brother-in-law, William Glitzer; sister-in-law, Dorothy (Vincent) Turiano. Survived by her loving children, Deborah (David) Rydell, Timothy (Janice) Youles, Donna (Wayne) Carlton; devoted grandchildren, Nicole (Quick) Mucica, Melissa (Dwayne) Hayward, Megan and Rachel Rydell, Shawn (Danielle), Tim, Douglas (Gina) and Andrew Youles, Katie (Brian) McBride, Thomas (Allison) Andreano, Jeremy (Serena) Andreano and Sara Carlton; several dear to her heart great grandchildren. She is survived by her sister, Suzann Glitzer; brother and sister-in-laws, Kenneth (Candy) Gerew, Sharon Gerew; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mary Ellen and her husband were exceptional bowlers that were well known in the bowling community. She enjoyed watching sports on TV and reading. Her greatest love was her family. With her happiest moments being surrounded by her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom fondly referred to her as “Great”.
Family and friends are invited to call on SUNDAY, September 25, from 3-6 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services (3325 Winton Rd S). Her Funeral Mass will be held Monday, September 26, at NOON at The Walter and Barbara Parkes Family Chapel at St. Ann’s Community (1500 Portland Ave). Interment White Haven Memorial Park.
