Becky and family, I was so shocked and very sad to see in Maureen's post that Ron was no longer with us. My heart breaks for you. Ron and I were little friends back around elementary school. So very sad. His family were very close to the Coles that lived next door to me.

Becky, Sandra, Carolyn, Jeff, Brian, and your beautiful grand children/children, our hearts are broken with the passing of your Husband/Dad/Papa. Ron is "My Brother From Another Mother". Many years ago I had a Bow that needed repair. A friend from Canadice NY asked me why I wouldn't just go to the guy that lives down my street. He gave me the # for Trader Point Archery. The rest is an awesome story of a great friendship and Love for him and his family. The things we did for the next many years are too vast to list. His good friends are now my good friends and visa versa. Hunting is a big part of our lives, it will never be the same again with out him. Ron bought a Harley Davidson. We road, with many friends, to several destinations near and far. I could write a book with all of the great times that we had, with nothing but fond memories. He may not be here physically but will always be alive to us in our Hearts. Love you Brother!! Sincerely!! Henry, Mary, and Hannah Jean (Phi) Bleier

When I was younger,Ron was like a big brother,we had the best times. He certainly bailed me out of jam or two, but that’s the kind of guy he was, always willing to lend a hand.I had a chance to reconnect with Beckie and Ron recently, and I am so grateful. He is very much loved and will be missed. Beckie, Sandra,Caroline and family we are so sorry and hope your wonderful memories help you through you hardest days.Love Fred and Jo

Such very sad news. Myself and my wife meat Ron 5 years ago when we came to the USA. Ron and Becky both make the trip down to NYC to spend time with us. I will always have very fond memories of what a lovely warm and welcoming man he was. Telling me about his cars and bikes etc. To make this effort to meet up with us was truly amazing even more so because we only got to know each other through Facebook.. Both having the same surname and at the time Ron listened to my radio show.. Small world. All our love and thoughts are with you all on this very sad occasion xx

I have the best memories with you Ron, from way back when we were kids...... swimming in the pool at Abington and playing pool in the basement, sitting at the bar, drinking gingerale or orange soda or something(???)..... and picking strawberries and snowmobile rides on the hills at the farm.....off to the races at Spencer and Oswego. But best of all the trips to Blue Jay camp and fishing from the boat, running around and walking to the ice cream stand. So great to see you at Ardennes recently. I will miss you and I love you!
