Collin “Mr. Bill” Thomas born June 2, 1950 in Kingston, Jamaica.
He came to Rochester in his early 20’s.
He LOVED Jamaica and knew the history of his people.
He had a wisdom of life and always spoke the truth, even if it wasn’t what you wanted to hear.
He had a connection with people that was hard to describe. He was a kind and loving man.
The foundation for his life was Love and Reggae Music
Legends aren’t born…Their built… we’ll miss him!
He is survived by his wife, Denise J. Thomas [Dorb]; children, Lance (Michelle) Thomas, Karla (Marquis) Thomas Wilcher and Aaron Thomas; his parents, Beryl Campbell and Keith McFayden; sister, Jennifer (Riley) Chamber; brothers, Keith (Emma) McFayden Chris (Delvetta) McFayden; grandchildren, Rashard, Destiny, Jonathon, Heaven, Bruce, Gio, Lorriel and Lanae; great-grandchildren, Jonathon Jr and Sophie; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Carlton McFayden; and sister, Patricia Goode.
He is also survived by his special friend, Crystal from Fresenius Kidney Center; and “nieces Bella and Ella”.
He was the voice of Reggae Music in Rochester for over 30 years.
Friends may call on SUNDAY October 16th from 11 AM – 2 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. (3325 Winton Road South).
