Paul was born July 1943 in Rochester and lived here his entire life. He attended Franklin High School and Marquette University. He then served four years in the US Navy. He was a long time friend of Bill W.

He passed away Wed. Dec 9th after living with Lewy Body dementia for four years. He was preceded in death by his partner of 45 years, Elizabeth Whitehead. Paul leaves behind four siblings: John Heary (Sherry), Carolyn Heary, Margaret Heary and Eileen Ott. His cremains will be interred privately at White Haven Memorial Park in Pittsford.
