Eleanor Mildred Hulme (née Watrous) of Henrietta passed away on December 23rd, 2020.

Born in Auburn, NY on July 28th, 1931, she was predeceased by her husband, Derick Hulme, parents, Lloyd and Mildred Watrous, and sister, Peggy Morgan. On July 10th, 1954 she married Derick Hulme in Auburn, NY. She is survived by their two sons, Robin Hulme (Eileen) and Derick Jr. Hulme (Diana), as well as four grandchildren: Connor, Mackenzie, Charlotte, and Olivia. Eleanor is also survived by her sister, Carol Twitchell, five nieces as well as three nephews.

Eleanor taught English and Social Studies in the Rochester City School District for 40 years. She and her husband loved sharing their passion for education and sports with their children and grandchildren as she was a loyal fan and constant supporter at all of their school events and games. She adored spending summers on Seneca Lake where she could tend to her garden, and spend time with her family on the water. Her care for her cats, Lily and Dewey, and many pets over the years is a testament to her deep love for animals.

Her family would like to thank the staff at Quail Summit in Canandaigua for their incredible work and care over the past year.

A private service with immediate family will be held.
