Diana Maude Spengler

Rochester, NY: Diana was born on September 9, 1933, and passed away on December 14, 2025, at age 92. She is predeceased by her daughter, Laurie Anne Spengler. Diana is survived by her children, Linda Suzanne Stummer (Peter) and Paul Manfred Spengler (Polly); grandchildren, Rachel Stummer (fiancé, Nate Jaenecke), Lauren Meteer (John), Will Spengler (Bekah), Elliot Spengler and Eric Spengler; great-grandson Leo Meteer.

She was born in London, England and lived in Glasgow, Scotland. At the age of two she travelled by steamship to the United States with her parents, Frank Eugene and Agnes Robinson, and brother Ian Robinson. She became a U.S. citizen later in life. Diana was a feisty, creative soul who loved to paint, cook, sing in choir and bring joy to others with her therapy dogs. Following her divorce in 1968, Diana began to work outside the home in the school guidance office at Fairport High School, and then for many years as an insurance agent. As a single mother she had a knack for stretching a dollar to ensure she met her family’s needs. Diana was proud to honor her daughter Laurie Anne by serving on the original board of C.U.R.E. Childhood Cancer Association.
