September 23, 2020 at age 75. Predeceased by his mother, Marie Simpson & cousin Gordon “John” Bayer. He is survived by his cousins, Brenda (Mike) Ward, Tom Bayer, Sabrina Rhoades & Gerry Bayer; and the entire staff and animals at the Seneca Park Zoo. Richard was a Docent at the zoo and was Santa to many children.
